I caved and joined Weight Watchers again. I was very curious about the changes to the new program. I couldn't help but wonder if those changes were more compatible with my outlook on eating. I joined last week, but haven't actually tracked for a whole week. I'm starting my first full week today.
I joined online so I didn't get the meeting explanation of the changes. Thus far, I like that the new point amounts seem to discourage people from eating processed food. I think the most difficult thing for me following this program is that I've become vegan. I don't know if I mentioned that in my last post. I became vegan about 7 months ago and absolutely love it. Yet, I'm still an overweight vegan. hmm I know it's mostly because of my problem with overeating and random snacking. My days always start out well, but after lunch time things just go downhill. So that's what led me to believe I do need to track my food. I did great by using intuitive eating to lose the initial 10 pounds or so, but now I need to be more focused.
I'm really excited about the changes to come. I'm really proud of the changes I've made in the last 6 months or so. I can only imagine how much better my results are going to be if I put in 100% effort. I'd say I've been around 50% for the last several months. Time to step it up!
