Crossfit Workout Update

I finished my first workout about an hour ago. I've already showered, filled up my bottle of water, and am relaxing on the couch.

The workout was intense! Today's workout was run 400 meters, complete 25 wall balls something or other, 20 jumping pull-ups, 15 V-crunches (or some other similar name). We were supposed to complete it 4 times, but the trainer was nice today and let some of us newbies do it 3 times. Considering I haven't run since January, I was tired after the first 400 meters. I actually thought about stopping during my second round. I was feeling dizzy, my back was hurting, and I was feeling so tired! But then I realized that one more round would feel empowering. I just took it easy during the run, since that's the part that was really sucking up my energy.

It was really nice doing the workout in a group atmosphere with people I know (or somewhat know). The leader was really nice and ensured everyone was practicing proper form. We had to go over squats. I've been taught how to do them before, but not with this much detail. Apparently I haven't been doing them properly for the last few years. I'm glad I finally learned a few more pointers with squats.

My thighs are starting to hurt already. Actually, they started hurting during the workout. I'm nervous as to how I'll feel tomorrow...some of the group was talking about going tomorrow. I had planned on going on Thursday. It will depend how I feel tomorrow.

I just realized I haven't said it yet, but I feel great! You know that post-workout feeling? Even though my body is starting to ache, I'm feeling awesome. I'm glad I tried this today.
